We look to the Indonesia region for coffees that are rich, earthy, and heavy-bodied. When searching for a green coffee to use for a darker roast profile, this region is a typical go-to. It's always our goal to feature a well-rounded menu of coffees from around the world, so we make sure to hold a place in our inventory for a coffee just like this. 

 When we first sampled this offering from Papua New Guinea, what stood out to us most  was the intense fragrance, giant chocolate notes, and chewy body. This coffee is a mouthful. We knew it would hold up to a dark profile, maintaining great sweetness  throughout the darker roast profiles.

 Papua New Guinea tends to have a unique combination of sweetness, acidity, and body making it a great candidate for dark roast profiles where we notice that flavors of darker fruits and spices start to come out.

 Tasting Notes: Bittersweet chocolate, toasted nuts, toffee and nutmeg. This coffee has toasted brioche aroma and a chewy mouthful.
